WHY SETTER VISION?
I am sharing my story through Setter Vision because I believe in sharing Christ through whatever avenue we can. I have always had a love for Volleyball, and why not represent Christ to players, parents, and anyone else that I may be around? Setter Vision shares these same principles, and I am happy to be a part of the platform. I believe sports opens the door to share who God is. I don’t have to preach anything; I only need to be who God created me to be and trust Him for the rest.
- My favorite Bible verse is John 10:10 because it is clear why Jesus came. He came to give us LIFE, and LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY. I integrate my faith in volleyball by being kind and uplifting to my players. I also remind them that they are more than able to do what they set their mind to. I help them see that they are strong, smart, and they never have to play scared. I take it from 2 Timothy 1:7

What does it mean to "Run the Race with Perseverance"?
Running the race with perseverance means that no matter what, we never give up. We can’t always control the game’s outcome, but we can control our attitude, mindset, and effort.
How do you "Give Everything" both on and off the court?
I give everything on and off the court by being prepared, giving all I have, and always being there for my players. I will ALWAYS be a coach to any player I have coached, even when they do what God created them to do as adults.
How do you "Keep Your Eyes on Jesus" while playing volleyball?
I keep my eyes on Jesus while coaching by always reminding myself of who I represent. I may be the only Bible that people may see. So I want to represent Him in the good and bad times, even when things are not going my way.
