WHY SETTER VISION?
I have a dream to be a professional athlete, spread the Word and promote God through my passions. I want to show that you truly can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. All you have to do is trust God and work very hard and never give up. I have recently been sponsored by Undrdog Athletics which is a Christian brand that supports athletes and glorifies God. This has been a dream come true for me and a great opportunity to share my story and glorify God throughout it.
- I integrate my faith during volleyball by praying nonstop before, during and after games. I am only where I am today because of God and my faith. I encourage anyone I meet to follow God and find Him because there truly is no limit to where you can go in life if you have God guiding you. My favorite Bible verse is Phil 4:13-"I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me." Anybody can do anything they want in this life, no matter what their disadvantages are or what others say. You can do anything with a strong faith in God, passion and hard work.

What does it mean to "Run the Race with Perseverance"?
I think that it means how we are to overcome obstacles and setbacks. I believe through all suffering and loss comes a lesson and new strength. I believe in perseverance because as they say “when you get knocked down, get back up” and I try to live by that.
How do you "Give Everything" both on and off the court?
I give everything on the court by being a leader to those watching. I try to show people that hard work and faith can overcome any challenges and when I’m on the court I try to push myself to limits that I haven’t touched because I know that I can inspire others to do the same. Off the court I try to be a positive role model to my peers by promoting God and hard work. Many have told me that I inspire them in different ways by my actions and I can say proudly that it’s not me that they should follow, but God.
How do you "Keep Your Eyes on Jesus" while playing volleyball?
I always know and trust God’s plan and path He guides me on. When I travel for tournaments I make sure to always bring my Bible and notes to do devotions. After games I thank God for the safety and skills that He has blessed me with and often tell people that none of what I have would be possible without Him.
