WHY SETTER VISION?

I first touched a volleyball when I was 4. My dad is a volleyball coach and saw the potential and what I could be through VC volleyball. I love the sport because I don’t only play for myself, I play for my dad. My favorite volleyball memory is when my dad taught me the topspin serve and I used it in my 12s game when I was 8 years old.

Im choosing to share my story with Setter Vision because I want to inspire others to play volleyball and to work hard so someday they can achieve their goals.

What does it mean to "Run the Race with Perseverance"?

“Run the race with perseverance” means to overcome everything that is difficult with grace. If your having a difficult time during a game you still have to push through it to finish the game strong. You can’t win or loose a game without a fight.

How do you "Give Everything" both on and off the court?

I give everything both on and off the court because I work hard on the court for my team, But I also present my best self when I’m around others and in school.

How do you "Keep Your Eyes on Jesus" while playing volleyball?

I “keep my eyes on Jesus” while playing volleyball because I know He will guide me through every tough time during in life and during my volleyball games.
