WHY SETTER VISION?
Volleyball gives me a huge platform to honor God and share my faith with others. By living a life of gratitude and service to others, I know that I receive His blessings everyday. I love being an example for others and showing them how living for Him makes even a cloudy situation shine bright!
Volleyball does not define me, only Jesus does. I allow my faith to shine through by the character I exhibit on and off the court. I work hard to be a good role model for others. I want people to know God through me by the way I serve my teammates and coaches. It’s important to me, to show others how God is always faithful through the wins and loses on and off the court.
- Philippians 4:13 is one of my favorite verses. I'm constantly reminding myself that no matter the day, good or bad, that God is always with me and giving me the strength to keep moving ahead.

What does it mean to "Run the Race with Perseverance"?
Running the race with perseverance and endurance to me means to keep persisting. God did not promise us that everything in life would be perfect, only that He would be there with us running the race too. He pulls us, pushes us and runs along beside us depending on how much we need His strength. When we keep our eyes fixed on Him, we stay strong even when we feel at our weakest.
How do you "Give Everything" both on and off the court?
I was raised to be a servant leader, to help others, on and off the court. I work hard to be a good teammate, friend and role model and meet others where they are. I let my faith in Him guide me on what I should do next to serve others through encouragement, compassion, leadership and friendship. This often leads to opportunities to share my faith with others.
How do you "Keep Your Eyes on Jesus" while playing volleyball?
Competition is tough. I keep my eyes on Jesus by always remembering I am a child of God. I work hard to maintain my composure, especially when I make a mistake or the team is struggling. I know that the match is temporary but my faith is forever.
