WHY SETTER VISION?
My Christian faith defines me, not my sport. Volleyball is a gift that I have been given from God as a way to share my faith with others.
As a setter and a leader, I wanted to take action and start something bigger than just playing the sport I love. I want to share my faith and have others be able to take part in high level trainings and competitions that create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
The big picture idea is to use Setter Vision to offer faith based camps, clinics, and merchandise as well as provide athletes with scholarships to be able to participate in the sport that they love that may not otherwise have had the opportunity to do so.

What does it mean to "Run the Race with Perseverance"?
God gives each of us a race to run. To me, that means that although my race can be challenging or difficult at times, pushing through with a positive attitude while giving my all through the gift God has given me, is honoring to Him.
How do you "Give Everything" both on and off the court?
When I play, I empty out my pockets. This means to leave everything that I have out on the court, knowing that I gave my absolute best for my team. It is my responsibility to use my God-given talent, and this is one way I can give all that I have through the sport I love.
A positive, energetic, and encouraging attitude is one way that I can be a leader to my team both on and off the court.
How do you "Keep Your Eyes on Jesus" while playing volleyball?
To me this means to focus on doing my best as an athlete while also representing Jesus in my actions and how I carry myself both on and off the court. Actions speak volumes, and when I shift my focus of playing the sport I love for Him and not others, I can play with even more joy and gratitude because He has given this gift.
My Christian faith defines me, not my sport. I am first and foremost a child of God, made in the image of God. I am the daughter of a King that is not moved by the world. My God is with me and goes before me. I do not fear because I am His.
BIO
I have loved volleyball as far back as I can remember. I grew up in the gym watching my dad coach since I was 3 years old. I started playing volleyball when I was in 4th grade on a Youth Development Team (YDT) at Minnesota Select and am currently on their 14-1 team for the 2023 season. This season as an 8th grader I was a starter on my high school JV team and played in 10 varsity matches which included starting the first varsity playoff match of the season.
I’m a multi-sport athlete who also plays softball and basketball. In my free time I enjoy drawing, hanging out with my friends and cheering them on at their sports events at school.
I have been afforded many volleyball opportunities from my parents who have sacrificed a lot of time, effort and energy to help me become the player I am today. I have met some of my best friends and have had some of my most memorable volleyball experiences during the club season.
For those reasons, I want to help others who may not have the financial means to participate in club volleyball. I want others to be able to take part in high level training and competition and to enjoy the same experiences that I have been given that will create memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
